Also heard as: Nessie, the folding boat
Jess’s folding boat, a box that transforms via command word into a 10-ft rowboat or a 24-ft ship with cabin, mast, and sail (holds 15). Gained: already owned by Jess’s character before episode 1 (a recurring item across her characters, per her own running joke). Used: river mooring/shelter and air travel out of Godoy, episode 5.
History
- Jess jokes that she’s gotten a folding boat “a couple times” before and never used it — implying it’s a pre-existing character item rather than a reward won this session; a separate whimsy-table roll taken around the same time turns her into a weasel instead 2023-09-12 @ 01:57:49, @ 02:20:47.
- Unfolded on land near the riverbank into full ship form (cabin, anchor) as an overnight shelter for the refugee party, then floated out onto the river; named “Nessie” when Ozan asks for the boat’s name 2023-10-24 @ 00:43:07–00:45:49.
- Flown roughly twelve hours to Lutathal after Pat casts Fly on it and hands control to his familiar, Randy @ 01:04:35–01:17:11.
