A brass, sextant-like “locate portal” device found in Arc II’s cult complex, with seven glass-marble slots. Each installed jewel permanently tracks the location of a linked Nexus portal. Distinct from the unrelated Arc I Planar Sextant aboard the party’s ship.

- Found by Jess in a desk drawer in the sealed Nexus-portal room, with only one of seven jewel slots filled 2021-10-19 @ 01:25:33.
- Identified by Rich as a permanent locate-portal device needing seven jewels total 2021-10-19 @ 02:39:05.
- A new red gem, suspected to key a fiery plane, is recovered from a glowing flag on the frost giant’s mountaintop 2021-11-02 @ 02:03:16.
- Confirmed unable to get the party back out of the Nexus — they must advance through the chain of gem-keyed portals instead 2021-11-02 @ 02:30:02.
