A mountain range from which trolls, previously confined to the Acatlalco mountain tunnels, spread out across the continent in the aftermath of the Binneth–Squiyles war.
History
- Shown on the Gazette’s post-war continental map as a named region separate from, but adjacent to, the Acatlalco range where the troll migration began 2019-10-07.
- Trolls, previously confined to mountain tunnels, spread throughout the range, bringing increased sightings of other dangerous beasts 2019-10-07, 2022-12-18, 2022-12-26.
- By late 4885, alchemists announce a troll-DNA-altering compound (transmitted via troll copulation) meant to end the trolls’ regenerative advantage and “civilize” the mountains 2023-09-24.
Unresolved
Named Troll Mountains near Godoy in the Godoy page’s geography (JakeDM campaign, 2023) may echo this same mountain range by name only; see Godoy’s Unresolved section — not asserted to be the same range given the vast gap in in-world time between the Gazette’s 4885 setting and JakeDM’s.
