Picking up in the flooded basement of Castle Ravenloft, Todd and Ozan’s character found themselves trapped in a cell at the bottom of a hundred-foot shaft, across from cells stuffed with gold and silver @ 00:34:37–00:38:55. While looting it, a hidden mechanism flooded a nearby cell with poison gas; Nutty threw a lit torch in to test if it was flammable — it was, and the room burned continuously for the rest of the session @ 01:15:42–01:20:21. Jake’s character escaped into the Ethereal Plane, Xarthax flew in to rescue people, and Jess’s character had to be freed from a burning cell with an Air Bubble spell while Ozan picked the lock @ 01:37:00–03:51:03.
Exploring upward, the party met Bartholomew, a sentient, multi-personality suit of armor obsessed with killing pets, and signed a mysterious guestbook nearby @ 02:09:05–02:22:54. Scouting ethereally, Jake glimpsed a two-throne room and a torture chamber, and the party heard what sounded like a marching army somewhere above, never confirmed as real @ 01:55:16–02:04:41. Pushing through more trapped corridors, they freed a prisoner, Murph, who immediately re-triggered a teleport trap @ 03:04:37–03:07:18. Jake eventually fought through the active fire to claim a magic sword that shapeshifts into whatever weapon its wielder imagines @ 03:58:19–03:59:58. The session ended with [[Raven|Donnie’s character]] pickpocketing a chained bookkeeper for 333 gold @ 04:20:08–04:22:51.
