AIRSHIP RACE
Do you have what it takes to take first place!
OPEN INVITE. Racers from around the globe are gathering at Laudir in the Kingdom of Squiyles for the annual airship races!
Do you have the mustard? Be it crew-man or captain, thousands are gathering. The route will take racers west off the peninsula leaving Laudir and heading toward the skies of Victrum, over the surrounding islands and onward toward Tredexum where the race will end.
“We’ve been training for this race all year” Say’s local air captain Reginald Woolrick. Ever since last years explosion officials have been doing more and more inspections into the safety of the event as well as the onlookers.
Since the race takes place mostly over the ocean there is limited risk of spectators getting injured.
Foul play was suspected last year however.
According to investigators there wasn’t hard evidence to support the allegations being thrown around.
Either way it’s surely going to be another great race! Rugby’s Gazette with be on the scene to report the action!

Yearly alliance meeting gets heated as King Stroth loses temper.
PEACE? OR WAR!
An argument broke out during the annual meeting of the kingdoms of Binneth and Squiyles yesterday. “King Stroth is usually very reasonable” said city negotiations host Brennen Ragard. Shortly after the annual land and trade negotiations began, King Stroth grabbed hold of King Tygard and dangled him over the edge of the meeting hall 3rd story window and was reported screaming a litany of insults at the man.. “It was tense” said onlookers. The meeting came to an abrupt halt as threats for war were overheard being thrown around during the exit of both royal parties.

ELECTRIC BEAST
I awoke in the middle of the night to an odd sound… But one I’d heard before. You could smell the air was electric, an energy was crackling outside my tent.
Who would be foolish enough to attempt to ambush me? Rex Sauvage! My armor was off but no matter. I grabbed my trusty sword and dove outside the tent. A gigantic thunder wolf tore into the tent at that same moment. Electricity crackled from its fangs as it turned its head toward me. It leaped, I dodged, It bore its mammoth paws into the ground and lunged at me again. I flipped backward and barely escaped his powerful jaws.
As the beast stood there growling and teeth showing, there was a glint in his eyes. I’d seen this before. I dug my sword deep into the ground and held it tightly. The beast let out a howl, and with it a storm followed. Winds powerful enough to sink ships came out of the beast’s maw.
The strain to hold onto my sword was tremendous, but I held fast. The winds that came howling from the beast were followed by a thunderous clap that destroyed the tree’s around me. The march continues as the Orcs from the East work their way slowly into the belly of the kingdom. Agriculture hub and one of the largest potato exporters, Kafka, attacked invaded and enslaved. By Garthok’s army.
“There is no royal protection presence in Kafka. Lending to its ease of defeat” says war-time strategist Martin Graybeard. “I would recommend families who live in nearby cities to either evacuate to a neighboring territory or prepare for the incoming attack. The royal army is a powerful force but it takes time for a king to amass an army and coordinate an attack. And in that time a lot can happen. I fear the worst for many of those in the warpath.”
