Recap
In Neo, Mori Yoshinari is nearly exposed as wanted by the Church of St. Cuthbert; the party intimidates a priest into silence, upgrades gear, and picks up a new bard, Kurt Furbane, who talks his way onto the crew. Scrying the paladin hunting Mori leads the party to a continent, Soyen-Suenth, sealed inside a flesh-dissolving green barrier. Unable to breach it, they visit the isolated village of Mishan, whose population survives on an artifact potato sack Pat (OOC) reveals he planted there — and decline to take it. That night the ship’s planar crystal activates on its own, yanking the party into the first layer of the Abyss, cliffhanging as a bone-and-soul demon ship turns toward them.
