Recap
With no clean fix for the Apocalypse Box’s curse on Jake (now called Tick-Tick), the party drains their own blood to refuel the ship and plans to flee to Earth, leaving Tick-Tick behind. While Ozan manually pumps Tick-Tick’s heart after a near-fatal bleed, an invisible attacker — a demon that has secretly possessed Nutty’s body since he touched a cursed soul gem sessions earlier — kills Ozan outright, then kills the unconscious Tick-Tick. With his dying breath Tick-Tick communes with Pelor and is reborn a Paladin, lifting the box’s curse; he banishes the demon, freeing Nutty. The session ends with Ozan dead (True Resurrection planned) and the box’s threat resolved.
