Recap
Outside the rug shop in Lutathal (called Liduriel/Kalooza this session), two astral-projected TIU investigators, Thornshade and Iron Soul, confront the party over the Dyson Dynamo — an artifact they say could “unravel the fabric of reality.” A tense standoff ends when a giant orca bouncer, Gang, brawls Thornshade into conceding; Thornshade shows his real badge, explains the Dynamo harvests souls, and marks the party as suspects regardless of Donnie’s bluff denying any knowledge of it. The party recruits Gang outright. Learning the race (the Rug Mandela, 20,000 gold winner-take-all) starts the next morning and they have no carpet, the party bluffs and intimidates a shopkeeper out of a discarded firework-carpet “jalopy,” memory-wiping him to cover the scheme. At the racers’ club, the Pierrot, Donovan snorts a drug called “whimsy,” catches an invisible pickpocket, and the party becomes local heroes buying the bar a round. The session ends on a fresh cliffhanger: the sky turns blood red and a massive demon rises up through the city streets.

Unresolved
Whether Lutathal (episode 5) and “Liduriel”/“Kalooza” (this session) are the same city is not stated outright, though the carried-over rug-shop/Greg conflict strongly implies it is. Several PCs appear under different names/classes than in earlier sessions (see Colt Hopper and Aisling Unresolved sections). Gang’s height is given as both 14 ft and 17 ft within the same session.
